Public Policy

The ISOC-ZA public voice portfolio meets on an ad-hoc basis to discuss new legislation that impacts the Internet environment. Submissions are made to parliament with special focus on users needs, and lobbying is done at all possible opportunities.

If you wish to participate in the policy sub-committee discussions on South African policy and legislation, please send an email to policy-request@isoc.za.org with 'subscribe' as the subject or alternatively visit the web interface here. Note that this is an automated system and you will need to remember that you must reply to the first message from the system - in order to confirm your email and subscription - before it will start.

Globally, ISOC has a recommended discussion forum on global Internet policy.

If you wish have any questions or comments about the policy sub-committee please send an email to
